FMA Assembly Delegate chosen
Members in Financial Management and Assurance in Headquarters elected Arkelga Braxton as their representative Delegate to the Union Assembly.

Union Assembly Officially Takes Office
As of today, February 20, 2009, the candidates for the Union’s first Assembly have taken office and officially begin their terms of service as representatives of the Union. The Union Assembly is our Union’s legislative and policy-setting body. The new Assembly Delegates will represent our membership and all GAO analysts for a term lasting until November 2010, when elections for a full 2-year term will be held.
The Union Assembly’s first official meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2009, in HQ room 4B17 (teleconference at 800-369-3324, passcode 22274). All GAO analysts are welcome to attend.

You can meet and greet with the Assembly Delegates at an Open House on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at 12:00 noon in HQ room 5Q30. Refreshments will be served, and you will have an informal opportunity to communicate your ideas, enthusiasm, and priorities directly to your representatives. VTC connections are scheduled for the following field offices:
