Notes
1. Proration is not included in this calculator.  If you were promoted or placed into a new band during FY 2009, part of your PBC salary increase will be based on your new position.  Proration applies to people in the following situations:


  a.
     if you changed to a higher band level in FY 2009,
  b.
     if you completed the PDP or CAPP after the beginning of FY 2009,
  c.
     if you were appointed to your position during FY 2009,
  d.
     if you took extended leave without pay in FY 2009,
  e.
     if you were hired after the beginning of FY 2009,

Salary caps are not included in this calculator.  If you are subject to pay caps, then part of the PBC shown here will not be permanently added to your salary.

A minimum of 1.6% of your competitive rate will be permanently added your salary, regardless of salary rate maximums for Band I and IIA analysts and specialists who meet BOTH conditions below:
     1. Were on board as of January 8, 2006, at the time of the Band II split and the change in salary ranges, and
      2. At that time, earned salaries that were above the new Band I and Band IIA salary rate maximums.

The portion not added to your salary will be paid to you as a one-time bonus.

If you received a "below expectations" rating in one competency, the PBC increase will not be applied.
